Client Needs
A Child’s Place client children are always in need of:
- Uniforms (sizes 4T-Adult) for boys and girls – blue/khaki pants, skirts, shorts and white button-up shirts
- Underwear, Socks, Bras (all sizes)
- Hygiene Items – toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, lotion
- School Supplies – rulers, pencils (lead and mechanic), pens, loose leaf paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, erasers, glue, markers, crayons, colored pencils, highlighters, scissors, protractors, calculators, folders, binders, combination locks, hand sanitizer, hand soap, facial tissues.
- Snacks – Individually pre-packaged nonperishable items including – Juice Boxes, Fruit Snacks, Fruit Cups, Raisins, Breakfast bars, crackers, pretzels, cookies, granola bars, yogurt snacks, goldfish crackers, individual cereal boxes
- ITEMS WE DO NOT TAKE: ANY USED ITEMS (even gently used) including clothes and stuffed animals which may be donated to Crisis Assistance Ministries or Salvation Army, homemade snacks, etc.

Financial
• Donations of cash and checks made out to “A Child’s Place” may be mailed to A Child’s Place, P.O. Box 33302, Charlotte, NC 28233
• Credit card donations may be made securely by clicking any of the Donate Now buttons. For your convenience, it is possible to schedule routine online donations. Frequency options include one-time, monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Notices of donations made in honor or memory of loved ones are sent to the honoree or family of the deceased upon receipt of the donation. Please be sure to include an address for the individual(s) you wish to be notified of the donation.
• Legacy donations are a wonderful way to extend your efforts to make a difference in the lives of Charlotte area homeless children.
