“They’re Banking on You: A Swine Evening” is a colorful gala, a Celebrity Piggy Bank auction and party. The sole special fundraising event for A Child’s Place, “A Swine Evening” features celebrity autographed piggy banks packaged with trips, fun items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Piggy banks are auctioned off in silent, live and eBay auctions on the night of the event.

Last year’s event presented banks autographed by celebrities including musician/actor/comedian Jamie Foxx, hockey great Gordie Howe, pop sensation Justin Bieber, musical legend Paul McCartney, real estate mogul Donald Trump, and many more. Packages included a 6-day/6-night African Photo Safari at Zulu Nyala Safari in South Africa; tickets to Conan O’Brien, David Letterman, Saturday Night Live and The Ellen Show; a 5-day/4-night stay at any Marriott Vacation Club Resort in the continental US and Caribbean; and other exciting prizes.

A Swine Evening 2012 will be on Saturday, June 2nd, 7:00pm-10:30pm at the Renaissance Charlotte Suite Hotel, 2800 Coliseum Centre Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217.
