The Housing Opportunity Foundation awarded eight area nonprofit agencies a total of $15,000 through the annual Realtor®-directed Community Grants Program. The foundation serves as the charitable arm of the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association, and is dedicated to making a difference in the community by creating housing opportunities, promoting homeownership, and positioning and educating Realtors® as leaders.
On Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to closing time at 10:00 p.m. six Charlotte-area Five Guys locations will participate in an evening for A Child’s Place to make a difference in the lives of the more than 4,770 homeless children attending Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
