PRIORITY NEEDS:

Field Trip Fund:  Students in our public schools are often charged a fee to help cover the costs of transportation, admission and meals. And it gets expensive – at one of our schools, we need nearly $1,000 to send a total of 16 ACP kids on their class trips.

Housing Items:  We are in need of new items such as sheets, comforters, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes, towels, etc. We are also in need of beds and sofas.

Tutors and Lunch Buddies:  Spend an hour a week with a ACP client child, either
helping them read or do their math OR just have lunch.

Particular needs at Bruns Avenue Elementary, Winterfield Elementary, Barringer
Elementary, Albemarle Road Elementary, Hidden Valley Elementary, Devonshire
Elementary, Nations Ford Elementary, Shamrock Gardens Elementary, Piney Grove
Elementary and Spaugh Middle School.

Office Volunteer:   Monitor phones during ACP staff meetings (every other Tuesday,
typically 1 1/2 hours)
